Work with our Radiation Oncology team to plan and administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments.

Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional patient care and customer service

* Administration of radiation therapy as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist

* Follow safety procedures to protect patient and staff from radiation overexposure

* Position patients using proper immobilization and beam devices

* Perform and document machine quality assurance procedures, know the safety limits, and notify inconsistencies or abnormalities to the appropriate party

* Perform required QA

* Safely and effectively operate equipment, such as simulation and treatment machines

* Maintain accurate and detailed treatment chart documentation

* Obtain port films as needed and ensure approval by Radiation Oncologist prior to treatment delivery

* Observe clinical progress of patient and report any concerns to the Radiation Oncologist

Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program

* ARRT certified

* NYS License in Radiation Therapy Technology

* Prior radiation therapy experience required

* Prior experience with True Beam and Mosaic preferred

* Varian True Beam linear accelerator experience required

Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada or NYC Residents Only: The pay range for Colorado residents is $31.78 to $56.88 per hour. The pay range for Connecticut / Nevada/NYC residents is $35.00 to $62.45.
