Reporting to the Senior Director, Facilities and Engineering, the Director, Corporate Facilities Management will be responsible to ensure the efficient and effective operation of all corporate office locations in the Tenet portfolio. The position will ensure that corporate facilities are kept well maintained and clean and ensuring that building occupants needs are met by the facility and that the buildings support efficient business operations.
FUNCTIONAL EXPECTATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Director, Corporate Facilities Management will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective facility management program for Tenetâ��s corporate buildings

With the Senior Director, Facilities and Engineering and other key stakeholders develop and implement a proactive maintenance program for the assigned facilities to meet the needs of the building occupants, comply with any leases that may be in place and laws and regulations from authorities having jurisdiction.
With the Senior Director, Facilities and Engineering and other key stakeholders develop, implement, and manage processes to effectively respond to occupant needs and concerns.
Performs regular building inspections, documents issues and implements corrective measures to deficiencies.
Ensures that assigned buildings are maintained to maximize occupant safety in compliance with all laws and regulations from applicable authorities having jurisdiction.
Negotiates and manages facilities services contracts including janitorial, window washing, elevator maintenance, life safety system testing and inspection among others.
Works closely with the Corporate Security department to keep the assigned buildings secure.
Conducts emergency drills to comply with all applicable laws and standards.
Develops and manages operating and capital budgets for the assigned facilities.
Researches and implements new processes and technology to improve operational efficiency.
Produces and maintains facility management reports
Maintains space allocation programs and processes and coordinates moves, adds and changes (MAC)
Manages and provides guidance to any direct reports..
CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE, ATTRIBUTES AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Significant experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years of experience managing large corporate buildings.
Ability to read lease documents to determine accountability for facility management scope
Computer literate with strong Microsoft skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of people including c-suite executives, building managers and staff and service provider staff
Experience managing a large corporate headquarters building is highly desirable
Good organization skills with the ability to prioritize workload and successfully manage all financial activities including budgeting and financial reporting
A cooperative approach to problem solving with the capability of building consensus and support, working across functional lines to engage disparate resources to work together to achieve desired results.
Ability to effectively manage conflicting demands for resources.
Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization.

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required with a Bachelorâ��s degree in facility management, business or a relevant field preferred. Certification in facility management is highly desirable.
