The Application Configuration Lead acts as an SME and has advanced knowledge of system configuration setup. The Lead performs configuration table updates and participates in regular audits to ensure the integrity of the application configuration setup. Assists the Supervisor in prioritizing daily work to ensure the team stays within established turnaround times.
DEGREE OF SUPERVISION:
This position reports to the Application Configuration Supervisor and requires minimal degree of supervision to ensure tasks are appropriately prioritized.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Knowledge of and ability to maintain standard configurations, templates and customization
Builds and updates the configuration tables as needed
Work with super-users to identify, train and provide support to system operators with regard to day to day operations and system changes or upgrades
Consults with the other departments as needed to ensure system configuration supports business need
Prioritizes and ensures daily work tasks and functions are completed within established turnaround times, including but not limited to, assigned queues and worklists
Identifies areas for improvement of processes or system configuration, and develops procedures to address them
Participates in department meetings, implementations, and inter-departmental meetings as required
Adheres and implements department policies and procedures, guidelines and protocols
All other job related duties as it relates to the job function or as delegated by the management team

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience required to perform the job.
2 year college degree in Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related area or 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
