Positions Location: Lansing, MI General Purpose of Job: This position will serve as the administrative leader of the Women and Infant’s Service line Management Team. This role, in partnership with the Physician Service Line Leader, Medical Directors and Nursing Leadership, is expected to establish collaborative relationships with partner stakeholders to drive operational excellence and develop the Women & Infants Service Line. Executes strategies to improve outcomes, enhance and grow new programs, and improve the patient experience. Oversees the delivery of services to ensure the highest quality, safety and care combined with the best experience for our patients and their families. Establishes and achieves the annual goals relating to people, service, quality and growth. - Link system services and expand Women & Infants service line points of access.
- Design and provide strategic growth plans, service enhancements, program expansion and community engagement activities.
- Provide direction and oversight for the establishment and execution of strategic and operational plans to include marketing initiatives, quality measures, standards of practice and patient care, and regulatory and accreditation.
- Participates with leaders from the medical staff, management, and clinical areas in planning, prioritizing, promoting and conducting organization-wide performance assessment and improvement activities.
- Manages people resources including development of leadership team.
- Have broad understanding of medical and surgical programs and program development.
- Enhance key Women & Infants service line programs across the system.
- Grow the average annual total Women & Infants revenue and contribution margin.
- Offer thought leadership for growth-oriented business plans for Women & Infants service line.
- Recommend and implement approved strategies to grow or maintain Women & Infants inpatient and outpatient volume.
- Identify Women & Infants specialty gaps and create recruitment and succession plans as needed.
- Must be able to collaborate and develop relationships with physician leaders.
- Strengthen relationships with referring and Women & Infants physicians across the system to support a network of coordinated patient care.
- Achieve nationally recognized quality and safety metrics.
- Support all system areas in achieving team member, physician and patient satisfaction goals.
- Participate in the development of an integrated care delivery system and ensure compliance with chronic care, complex care and discharge planning processes.

Preferred. *Experience in program development and growth as well as process and quality improvement.
