We have an exciting opportunity for a Revenue Management Specialist to join our research administration team.
You will be an integral member of the team and in compliance with all regulatory, institutional, and departmental requirements.
You Will:
Provide revenue management for all clinical research contracts with non-federal sponsors for CRA. This is including but not limited to the Department of Medicine, Radiation Oncology, Department of Surgery, Regional Networks, and Multisite Compliance.
Prepare and remit invoices for protocol patient accruals, research non-billable charges, patient food/travel expenses, pharmacy, radiology, and administrative fees on a quarterly or monthly basis as per clinical trial agreement.
Manage outstanding payments and aging reports via CTMS, SmartStream, and Cognos. Escalate payments overdue more than 60 days to the Manager, Revenue Management.
Perform intermittent and end of study reconciliation of revenue based on protocol activity/visit completion, invoicing, cash received, and/or other parameters.
Work with ORPA/Research Fund Management and other CRA units as needed. Ensure provision of data and information including protocol activity/visit completion and invoicing information.
Maintain all invoicing and revenue management information in CTMS.
Ensure all clinical research financial activity is of the highest quality and completed in compliance with relevant sponsor, MSK, and federal regulations.
Review and compare the contract, external and internal budget terms, and protocol to ensure uniformity.
Perform the financial build and quality assurance review for clinical trials in CTMS
Build and manage budget amendments and versions in CTMS to ensure compliance with contract and protocol versions.
You Need:
Bachelors Degree with 2 years of relevant experience or HS Diploma and 6 years of relevant experience.
Previous clinical research experience is a plus.
Ability to prepare business reports and oral communication skills to present complex information in a clear concise manner.
Perform basic math calculations as well as, a knowledge of payment terms and budgeting.
Proficiency in use of computers and software such as database management, spreadsheets, word processing, and graphics applications. #LI-POST
