SUMMARY: The Perioperative Services Data Base Coordinator provides facilitation, coordination, and support, for nursing computerization throughout Perioperative Services. This position serves as a consultant/liaison for computer projects that involve Surgical Services and Information Management. Provides necessary liaison and interface activities for implementation and ongoing system operations. Serves as the training manager for the implementation, integration and ongoing evolution of clinical information systems for Perioperative Services. Coordinates all aspects of EMR & CPOE for Perioperative Services. Effectively communicates and demonstrates a clear understanding of the Tenet standards, vision and guiding principles.

Minimum Licensure and Certification:
Credentialed Registered Nurse with a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
Minimum Experience/Additional Certification:
At least 3 years of Perioperative nursing experience required. Cerner experience preferred.
