The pharmacy resident shall review all medication orders and assess the completeness and appropriateness of the medication profile prior to dispensing and administration. Except in emergency situations, all medication orders must be reviewed by a pharmacist prior to dispensing. All medication profiles must include the patientâ��s height, weight and allergies, prescriberâ��s ID number.
The resident always acts in the best interest of the patient.
The resident is a graduate of an ACPE-accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree program
The applicant shall be eligible for licensure in California
The candidate agrees to adhere to the rules of resident matching program process
The candidate is enrolled in the ASHP matching program
